A helix piercing refers to an aesthetic cartilage piercing on the outer rim of the ear. It can be adorned with varying jewellery pieces, from understated stud earrings to oversized statement pieces.
A helix piercing is situated on the upper area of the outer ear which can be done as an individual piercing (standard helix) or in multiple versions (double or triple helix).
Pain is moderate - worse than a lobe piercing but less than other cartilage piercings. It usually feels like a sharp pinch with some pressure afterwards.

❌ Use harsh solutions like alcohol or hydrogen peroxide
❌ Go swimming in pools, lakes, or oceans during healing
❌ Over-clean - it can lead to irritation and slow healing
